This course listing is for the community-based CPR AED + First Aid class at Prospect Bay Clubhouse.

Course Fee: CPR AED – $50/person

CPR AED + First Aid – $70/person

 

A payment of $50 will be collected upon registration. If opting to add First Aid, $20 will be collected at the time of class.

 

This course is designed for anyone in the community and workplace setting, and will cover the following topics:

• Sudden cardiac arrest and how to recognize an emergency
• CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) for adult, child and infant patients
• AED (automated external defibrillator) use for adult, child and infant patients
• Airway obstruction (choking) for adult, child and infant patients
• Working as a team to provide rescue efforts

 

First Aid topics will include:

• Medical Emergencies
• Bleeding Control
• Allergic reactions
• Shock

 

Digital certification cards are issued through the Health & Safety Institute (HSI) and are valid for 2 years. Cards are issued via email within 48 hours of completing your class.
